Fashion Jewelry Manufacturing Process — Inside Regent Jewelry’s Craftsmanship
When fashion brands or wholesalers look for a reliable fashion jewelry manufacturer, they seek more than just a factory — they look for craftsmanship, precision, and trust.
At Regent Jewelry, with over 50 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing, we combine modern technology and traditional handcrafting to produce high-quality silver, copper, and stainless steel jewelry for global brands.
1. Design & CAD Development
Every collection begins with a concept. Our design team transforms creative ideas into 3D CAD models, allowing clients to review details like shape, structure, and stone settings before production.
This stage ensures each design meets brand aesthetics and manufacturing feasibility.
2. Wax Model & Molding
After design approval, a wax prototype is created through 3D printing or silicone molding. The wax models form the basis for mass production, maintaining consistency across large volumes.
3. Lost-Wax Casting
The wax models are placed into a casting tree and encased in investment plaster. During heating, the wax melts out, leaving perfect cavities. Molten copper, silver, or stainless steel is then poured in, forming the jewelry’s metal body — a crucial step known as lost-wax casting.
4. Polishing & Surface Finishing
After casting, each piece is carefully trimmed and hand-polished. At Regent Jewelry, our expertise lies in achieving a smooth, mirror-like surface, whether for plain metal jewelry or stone-set designs.
Our polishing masters handle every curve and corner to ensure a flawless finish.
5. Stone Setting & Assembly
Once polished, components are assembled and stones are set by skilled craftsmen. Depending on the design, we apply pavé, prong, or bezel settings for cubic zirconia, crystals, or gemstones.
Precision in this step defines the final beauty and value of each jewelry piece.
6. Electroplating & Coating
To achieve the perfect color and durability, every product undergoes professional electroplating — including 14K/18K gold plating, rhodium, IPG, PVD, or nano coating.
Nano coating is especially popular for thick gold-plated silver jewelry, as it enhances anti-tarnish performance without altering the surface tone.
7. Quality Inspection
Before shipping, each item passes through strict QC testing — checking plating thickness, color consistency, stone tightness, and overall finish. Our process ensures every batch meets export standards for OEM & ODM clients.
8. Packaging & Global Delivery
After final cleaning, jewelry pieces are carefully packed and shipped to international clients. We work with wholesalers, fashion brands, and designers in Europe and the U.S., providing both small and large-scale production with stable lead time and quality assurance.
